Shake that was a combo of Juice Plus complete and Standard Process Purification shake with banana, kiwi, frozen blueberries and black berries, flax meal, vanilla and cocoa powder.
No time for lunch today, so a half slice of bread with peanut butter
Fresh caught salmon grilled with some smoky sea salt, and a salad with arugula, mixed greens, red and green bell peppers, green onions, mushrooms and cauliflower with nonfat balsamic vinaigrette.
Evening snack I blended some unsweetened almond breeze, vanilla, cocoa powder and kiwi, with a touch of agave nectar.
No work out today. I had a Mounted shooting clinic for most of the day. That in itself is a work out. Riding a shooting is an athletic event!
Steel cut outs with flax meal, frozen blackberries, vanilla and a touch of honey and agave nectar.
Slice of whole wheat/omega 3 toast with avocado, raw cauliflower with some spicy humus and a few falafel balls (we get the falafel balls from Costco).
Snacked on a few raw almonds, walnuts and fresh strawberries. Also a sample of yogurt with flax meal at Costco! Nels sampled a couple more items!
Costco can be a challenging place to get through calorie wise when they have a lot of samples. A few bites of high calorie items add up quickly. If you are watching your intake, it is not a good idea to go hungry. Make sure to have a snack at least before you go and limit yourself on the samples. Make sure to cut back on the rest of your intake for the day if you sample!
Maui Maui grilled with grilled vegetables (asparagus, green onion, red and green bell pepper, and mushrooms seasoned with pepper, sea salt and a touch of olive oil.
Evening snack will be fresh fruit blended up in the Vita Mix – pineapple, banana, frozen berries, apple and a scoop of cocoa powder.
Work out was an insanity work out – polymeric cardio circuit.
Next week will be much of the same. We will cut back a touch on portions and start drinking apple juice. We still need to find a good source. This will start the preparation for the liver and gallbladder flush.
